The Best Things I’ve Restocked, Watched, Listened To — and Dreamed About Lately
Lately, I’ve been thinking about the little things that make life feel more me again.
Not in a dramatic reinvention way — more in the quiet, everyday sense of noticing what I return to. The things I restock. The stories I reach for. The moments that remind me I’m building something, even when it’s messy.
Here are a few of the best things I’ve loved recently.
Audiobooks Are My Reading Life (Hello, Atlanta Traffic)
I’m not much of a sit-down-with-a-book person, but I am constantly listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Atlanta traffic will do that to you.
Two books I really enjoyed recently were Strangers by Belle Burden and The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. There’s something about having a good story in your ears while you’re stuck on the highway that makes life feel a little more expansive — like you’re still moving, even when you’re not.
A Movie Recommendation I Truly Loved
I watched Song Sung Blue with Kate Hudson and really enjoyed it. It was one of those movies that just hits at the right time — comforting, interesting, and a reminder that we can always reinvent ourselves - no matter our age or goal!
A Tiny Jewelry Restock That Feels Like a Reset
I just restocked my favorite Dorsey earrings. I accidently misplaced one and had to order a replacement. I can’t wait to wear them for my sister’s upcoming wedding.
They’re the kind of piece that makes you feel pulled together instantly — even if you’re just running errands in a white blouse and trying to remember where you put your phone (again). I love having “go-to” things like that. Small luxuries that don’t scream, but quietly sparkle.

The Things I Know I Care About
When I zoom out, there are a few themes that always come back around for me.
I care deeply about:
Thrifting and shopping with creativity
Financial wellness for women
Raising children who are happy, kind, productive humans
Going after the things I secretly (or not-so-secretly) want to accomplish
Some days my energy is sky-high. Other days… not so much. But I sincerely love demystifying design and empowering a younger generation to shop for their homes differently.
I want people to feel like beautiful spaces aren’t just for the wealthy or the professionally trained. They’re for the curious. The thrifters. The estate sale scrollers. The women building layered lives piece by piece.
I’d love to think about how I could do this on a larger scale — and honestly, I’m open to ideas.
And while we’re being honest: I wish I understood numbers better. I wish I returned text messages more quickly. I wish I could clone myself on weeks when everything feels like a lot.
But I’m trying. And I think that counts.

AUCTION NEWS: Grace Mirabella
Grace Mirabella, the legendary editor-in-chief who shaped American Vogue from 1971 to 1988, left behind far more than an iconic editorial legacy — she embodied a timeless philosophy of style.
“What I’ve always cared about, passionately, is style,” Mirabella once said. “Style is how a woman carries herself and approaches the world… an attitude about living. Style transcends money, fashion trends, ‘prettiness.’”
Known for bringing an elegant, modern voice to the magazine during the 1970s and ’80s, Mirabella transformed fashion publishing and influenced generations of women in how they dressed — and how they lived.
Now, collectors and admirers will have the rare opportunity to own pieces from her extraordinary personal collection.
On February 10, Auctions at Showplace in New York City will present 343 lots of fashion, art, and objects once owned by Mirabella, including:
A photograph of Coco Chanel by Horst P. Horst
Works by Alexander Liberman

A true glimpse into the life — and style — of a woman who understood that fashion was never just about clothes.
Life lately feels like a mix of earrings and audiobooks, big dreams and small chaos, thrifted treasures and motherhood and trying again tomorrow.
And maybe that’s the point.
More soon.
HAPPY HUNTING! ✨
XO,
Elizabeth
