Weekend "Therapy"
My version of "therapy" has always been thrifting. Now, I actually do both real therapy and thrifting, and for me, it’s the perfect combo.
Today, I visited a multi-estate sale held in a warehouse featuring items from dozens of sellers. The first three digits of each barcode correspond to a different seller. I ended up picking up a large coffee cup for $5, three green glass jars for $22 (perfect for holding detergent and other items in my laundry room), and a pretty plate for $38 to hang somewhere in my home. It still had an old Ainsworth & Noah tag attached!
Here are a few of my favorite sale finds:
A coffee cup just for me! The sides were painted with chocolate stripes.
A pair of lanterns that reminded me of ones from Hillbrook Collections and also seen on Julia Amory’s pretty Palm Beach home.
An older & fun set of VIETRI china - I can’t remember the exact price tag, but under $200 with today’s 35% off discount.
A pretty plate with a Ainsworth-Noah tag. I hung this plate above a door in a bedroom today when I got home. Couldn’t wait!
A set of two antique deft blue & white plates with a Jane Marsden Antiques tag.
